Task 1 Due 14/05/2010

Record a five minute presentation of a project proposal for your video. In you presentation you should provide a SWOT analysis of three potential ideas for the project and explain why you finally decided on one of the project for your proposal you should split your proposal into two parts, firstly Research and secoundly the Project idea.

Research

Research sub chapter titles

4. Elements that I might borrow from my research examples

In completing this task your research should aim to a) originate and research ideas for a media product working with appropriate conventions, or, b) originate and research ideas for a media product competently showing some imagination, or, c) originate and research ideas for a media product to a quality that reflects near professional standards showing creativity and flair. You should show information on your research into diffrent Genres, Styles and Subjects

2. How my research has influenced my idea
3. Posssible story line and details of idea
4. Characters/Actors needed and details
5. Who is your audience
6. Possible Pre-production, Production and Editing dates
7. SWOT Anlysis 

Pitch you idea for your product in the form of project management proposal, taking into consideration the purpose of the product, the intended audience, the client’s brief, timescale, constraints, feasibility and the medium you have chosen to work, contingency plans. you should also detail the videos Genre, Style and Subject.


In completing this task you should aim to a) pitch a proposal to a media product expressing ideas with sufficient clarity to communicate them with some appropriate use of subject terminology, or, b) pitch a proposal to a media product effectively expressing ideas with clarity and with generally appropriate use of subject terminology, or, c) pitch a proposal to a media product to a near professional standard expressing ideas fluently and using correct subject terminology.

Students may work as part of a group for this brief. However, all members of the group must create their own individual prsentation and final Video.

1. A video or Audio file of your presentation.
2. Your presentation notes detailing a SWOT analysis and ideas for your videos Genre, Style and Subject. (Produced on google documents power point so that you can link it to your blog)
3. Research notes into you choosen videos Genre, Style and Subject.
